Over the past 20 years DEM Machines LTD have worked extremely hard at identifying the exact requirements of most of the major multi-national companies in Ireland. By providing both standard and custom built weighing solutions to meet these requirements D.E.M. Machines has grown from strength to strength and are now recognised as the largest Irish owned manufacturer of industrial weighing solutions in Ireland.
We have worked with most of the large Consultant Project Engineering companies such as DPS Engineering Ltd., Project Management, Jacobs Engineering, Tuchenhagen, Hosokowa Stott, Proscom etc. During this time and we have supplied solutions for several large projects such as Pfizers, Warner Lambert, Smithkline Beecham, Takeda and Rottapharm.
Research and Development is taken very seriously at D.E.M. and substantial amounts of money and time has been invested over the years to ensure that products are developed to meet the ever changing needs of our customers.
While the company manufactures a wide range of standard platforms (mostly in 316L stainless steel) an increasing number of customers are looking for “specials”, these can range from special scales for weighing IBC’s or Tote Bins to Intrinsically safe environment scales.
A large proportion of our business now comes from Chemical and Pharmaceutical companies. Customers requiring Intrinsically Safe weighing equipment for hazardous areas can feel comfortable that we, as an Irish owned company, can provide them with a turnkey solution from our strategically located manufacturing facility in Naas, Co. Kildare.
We also specialise in providing Tank Weighing solutions and recent developments in this field has given us the edge on our competitors!
We have developed a unique DLC board which we can fit to your existing loadcells on your vessels/silos thus converting them from analogue to digital and giving you 10 times greater accuracy all at a fraction of the cost of digital loadcells!
Our in house team of software engineers at DEM have developed the new Touch Screen JPC data capture terminal. This is essentially a Harsh Environment P.C. and the software can be written in-house to meet a customers requirements or alternatively it can be interfaced with an existing network. This product is proving very popular in the chemical/pharmaceutical industries and has been used successfully in applications that require multiple weighing stations connected to one central processing unit. The JPC is essentially an industrial P.C. however it is now used as standard by DEM on all our Data Capture Systems. It can then be networked or interfaced to a customers System.

We have additional factories in Cork , Sheffield in the UK and Netanya in Israel. Our factory in Israel manufactures Industrial boards and Panel Computers.
